Rapidly Melts, Fragments & Selectively Removes Cement in Hip & Knee Revisions
The Axiom™ Ultrasonic Removal System uses adaptive ultrasonic energy to melt polymethyl methacrylate bone cement (PMMA) at the blade tip, minimizing leverage on bone. The high frequency softens cement allowing selective and rapid cement removal, preserving the surrounding patient anatomy.
